925 Silver Newgrange Earrings

The entrance stone at Newgrange is regarded as one of the masterpieces of Neolithic art. Dating over 5,000 years, the megalithic spiral engravings of the entrance kerbstone are faithfully depicted on these silver pendant earrings.

The area within the bend of the River Boyne is known as ‘Brú na Bóinne’ meaning the “palace” of the Boyne. Newgrange is one of three mounds in this river bend, the others are Knowth and Dowth, built by our ancient ancestors – skilled observers of the skies who aligned their buildings with the solstices, equinoxes, lunar variations and the stars.
