Connemara Marble (3)
Connemara marble is found along the west coast of Ireland in an area famous for it’s spectacular rugged beauty. The area is known as Connemara and from it we find the green veined stone which formed 600 million years ago. After we hand-carve and polish the stone it reveals the curious green colours that remind us of the wonderful green hills and windswept coastline of Ireland. The rare and treasured marble has become a symbol of the Irish people and like us no two stones are ever the same. -

Knot-work (4)
The Book contains the four Gospels in latin and is famous for it's lavish and colourful decorative text and drawings. The knotwork designs show how each loop is individual yet cannot be separated from the whole and so has become a symbol of our oneness with creation. The Book originates from a monastery founded in the year 561 by St. Colum Cille on the island of Iona off the west coast of Scotland. After a Viking raid in 806, the monks took refuge in a new monastery at Kells in County Meath, and the book is now on display in Trinity College, Dublin. -
Newgrange (6)
One of the oldest stone structures on earth and an astronomical wonder with carved symbolic spirals and patterns. It dates back 5,000 years ago and each year on midwinter's day the sun's light reaches an opening, slowly spreading rays of light on the passage and chamber within. -
Special Editions (3)
Precious and semi-precious stones of high quality are becoming harder to find. When I come across a particularly beautiful one-off stone I will create a piece just for that stone. Because of this, the pieces you see on the special editions page are one-offs. -

The area within the bend of the River Boyne is known as ‘Brú na Bóinne’ meaning the “palace” or the “mansion” of the Boyne, where the oldest buildings in the world still stand.
