Connemara Marble
Connemara marble is found along the west coast of Ireland in an area famous for it’s spectacular rugged beauty. The area is known as Connemara and from it we find the green veined stone which formed 600 million years ago. After we hand-carve and polish the stone it reveals the curious green colours that remind us of the wonderful green hills and windswept coastline of Ireland. The rare and treasured marble has become a symbol of the Irish people and like us no two stones are ever the same.
